Welcome to the Department of Reformed Theology and Music

About the faculty

The Faculty of Reformed Theology was founded in 1993 within the Babeș-Bolyai University. Our faculty offers two BA programs: Religious Studies and Music. Students attending our Music BA undergo vocal training but also have the opportunity to study instruments, including organ, piano, recorder, violin, and clarinet. This undergraduate portfolio is complemented by several MA programs, after which students may apply for a PhD-program within our faculty.

Our goals

The goal of the Faculty of Reformed Theology through the Religious Studies program is to train professionals in education, who are versed in the field of Reformed theology and church culture, and have a biblical disposition. In their own context our students carry on the spiritual and cultural heritage of the Reformers with conviction, faith and commitment.
